80 for Brady

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this movie. Truthfully, I didn’t have an intention to see it before my mom suggested it. Now that I have, though, I’m glad I did. This movie is the definition of a feel good, buddy comedy. From the first scene, I was laughing, thinking of my friends and I doing something similar to the 4 leading ladies ‘Kick-Off Tradition’. While I don’t know anything really about football, it wasn’t necessary. All of the antics that happen…even while under the atmosphere of the Superbowl…happen in their own way. I may not have grown up with the actresses in this movie like my mom, (truthfully I only knew Sally Field), but all of them were enjoyable. I can’t give this movie a perfect score, but the writing, albeit cheesy, was decent. The characters are all likable and quirky in their own ways. Plus, the plot doesn’t take itself too seriously. Overall, I’d rate this movie as fine. During a girl’s night, I wouldn’t mind watching it and laughing with my friends about how the characters will be us in 60 years.
